SAINT CECILIA ANGELIC CHOIR

SAINT CECILIA ANGELIC CHOIR is one of the liturgical functionaries in the church. 

OUR APOSTOLATE: Our major Apostolate are;

 1. To pray, praise and worship God through songs and hymns

2. To lead the congregation at mass and other devotions and liturgies in prayer, praise, and worshipping God while enlivening their hearts with music and songs.

3. Serving as a group within the church for faith formation.

OUR ACTIVITIES: We sing at 8 am Sunday mass, evening mass, wake keep, wedding mass, and any other mass as may be assigned.

We have our monthly prayer meeting and devotion every 2nd Saturday of the month by 6 pm in choir's vestry.

Our practice days are as follows: 

Sundays, immediately after the 8 am mass at Domus Mariae or Car park.

 Thursdays, immediately after the evening mass at church premise. Saturdays, by 6 pm in choir's vestry. 

We have our monthly general meetings every 3rd Sunday of the month immediately after 8 am at Domus Mariae/car park.

NOVENA TO CHOIR'S PATRON SAINT AND HER FEAST DAY CELEBRATION: We join all other choirs in the parish to have yearly 9-day novena in honour of choristers' patron saint, St Cecilia, starting from every 13th November, and join choristers in celebrating her feast day every 22nd November.
