Catholic Confraternity of Christian Fathers (CCCF)

Catholic Confraternity of Christian Fathers (CCCF) was founded at the Holy Cross Cathedral, Archdiocese of Lagos, by Archbishop Emeritus, Anthony Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie on 14th September 1991, and had its first investiture on 22nd August 1993 at the Holy Cross Cathedral, Lagos after two years of probation.

Today, Catholic Confraternity of Christian Fathers (CCCF) is in many parishes and is one of the approved Lay apostolate Societies in Lagos Archdiocese. It is a platform for Catholic men who are wedded in the Church and are encouraged to live a holy and upright life fashioned after the example of St. joseph, the chase spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

CCCFstartedd in St Mary’s Catholic Church Isolo in 2016 and had our first Investiture on 28th November 2021. We have continued to grow our numbers from strength to strength since inauguratio,  and we are now vibrant and very active in the deanery and archdiocese.

CCCF is a devotional society whose primary objective is prayerful devotions as defined by His Grace, Archbishop Alfred Adewale Martins, Archbishop of the Lagos Metropolitan See, in the new Archdiocese Parish Guidelines.
